Nuremberg Fair

Nuremberg – the Kaiser’s favorite residence “Nürnberger Tand geht durch alle Land” (“In every region, Nuremberg’s goods are legion”) – this saying is still on the outer wall of the Nuremberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce. For centuries, Nuremberg has not just been the city of the master singers but also the city of the master tradesmen. The export share of Nuremberg’s economy remains high at 40 percent. But Nuremberg is so much more than a city of business and industry.

Works by illustrious artists like Albrecht Dürer, Veit Stoß, or Adam Kraft testify to that fact. The geographical location of the city contributes to its high quality of life: to the North is the pristine, lovely region called “Franconian Switzerland” and to the South is the Franconian lake region. This is another reason why many fair and trade show visitors extend their stay in the region around Nuremberg – in one of the loveliest areas in Germany.Logo of the Nuremberg Fair
